When stars rule all

It is amusing to read about the Russian lining up for the 08.08.08 wedding and terming the date as 'auspicious'. When the so-called modern west sees dates as auspicious, then why blame traditional Indian lining up to get married on a single day. One thing is clear, that irrespective of faith, color, religion and nationality, all human beings are essentially the same and think in the same way. Superstitions abound all over the world, it's another story that many of the weddings that took place on the last auspicious wedding date (07.07.07) ended in divorce.
