Gloomy dawn

As the year 2005 dawns, sensex is high, forex surplus rising and industry flying. Metropolises are flooded with cineplexes and malls, youth are having the latest Cell phones, bikes and cars. Billions are spent on elections. But the tragedy is that a good section of Indians still live below poverty line. The government is not able to make jobs available to those who need them. It had funds but the poor do not have access to it.
