Fee fo fum

By levying a licence fee on TV and radio, the central government will push us back into the nineteenth century. The government abolished this fee decades ago. It could insist on self-funding of TV and radio through advertisement and other means and cut unwanted expenses. The government owned channels seems unable to come out of bureaucracy's ted tape.
