If the Taj Mahal is the seventh wonder of the world, our politicians are the eighth. Constrained by the vote bank, they are doing nothing to protect the Taj from pollution. A concrete jungle in the name of development is an idea that is bound to create chaos. Instead of beautifying our heritage site and preventing its decay, they are complicating the matter. We cannot neglect the seventh wonder but let us try to change the eighth.
