It is unfair to tax the services provided by the IT training sector. The Indian IT industry is renowned in the world. Keeping this in view, in fact, the government should provide concessions tp promote IT education. At the mass level, IT training is possible only with the help of the private sector. But, service tax will push up the cost of training that will hit the middle class in particular. In the time of economic recession, instead of levying tax, the government should give tax rebate to boost the IT sector, which is creating new employment avenues.
